What's Included

This is a 5-piece set consisting of:

(1) Slasher Glove Cake Pop Cutter
(1) Cake Pop Plunger
(1) Glove Detail Cutter
(1) Glove Detail Press
(1) Blade Cutter

Decorations, fondant, modeling chocolate, finished treats, sticks, and accessories shown in photos are not included.

How to Use

Creating the Cake Pop

  1. Roll your cake pop dough to 16 mm thickness. This thickness is intentional and is designed to produce an approximately 1-ounce cake pop.
  2. Lightly dust the inside of the cake pop cutter with cornstarch before cutting. The cornstarch helps prevent the dough from sticking and allows the shape to release cleanly.
  3. Press the cutter firmly into the dough.
  4. Use the included plunger to push the shaped cake pop out of the cutter.

Important: The plunger is designed to help push the dough out of the cutter. It does not replace the use of cornstarch. Dusting the inside of the cutter with cornstarch is what helps the dough release cleanly.

Adding the Glove Detail

Use the included Glove Detail Cutter and Glove Detail Press with fondant or modeling chocolate to create the decorative details for the glove.

Lightly dust the tools with cornstarch as needed to help prevent sticking.

When applying chocolate to the finished cake pop, keep an eye on the narrow separations between the fingers. If chocolate begins to pool in these areas, use a cookie scribe or toothpick to gently remove the excess while the chocolate is still workable.

Creating the Blades

The included blade cutter creates individual, straight blade pieces that can be reshaped after cutting to create different looks.

If you want a more claw-like, curved, or bent-blade appearance, gently reshape the pieces after cutting. You can customize the shape of the blades before attaching them to your treat.

If using fondant:
Cut your blade pieces and reshape them as desired. Set the finished pieces aside for a few hours to allow the fondant to dry and firm up before attaching them to your cake pop. Once they have set, they will be much easier to handle and will hold their shape while decorating.

If using modeling chocolate:
Cut your blade pieces and reshape them as desired. Because freshly cut modeling chocolate remains flexible, allow the shaped pieces to sit at room temperature for a few hours so they can firm back up before attaching them to your cake pop.

Pro Tips for Best Results

• Always dust the inside of the cake pop cutter with cornstarch before cutting to help prevent sticking.
• Roll cake pop dough to 16 mm for the intended approximately 1-ounce cake pop size.
• The plunger helps push the dough from the cutter; it does not replace the cornstarch needed for clean release.
• Work carefully around the narrow separations between the fingers when decorating.
• If chocolate pools between the separated fingers, use a cookie scribe or toothpick to gently remove the excess while the chocolate is still workable.
• Reshape the blade pieces after cutting if you want a curved, bent, or claw-like appearance.
Regardless of which material you use for the blades, allow the pieces to set before attaching them to the treat. Fondant should have time to dry and firm up, while modeling chocolate should have time to harden again at room temperature.
• Preparing the blade pieces a few hours ahead of time makes them easier to handle and attach.

Care and Cleaning Instructions

• Wash before first use.
• Hand wash only using warm water and mild dish soap.
• Use a soft-bristled brush to gently clean detailed areas, including the small separations between the fingers.
• Avoid using sharp objects to remove dough or food residue from the tools.
• Do not place in the dishwasher.
• Dry thoroughly before storing.
• Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Removing Stains

Some food colorings may temporarily stain lighter-colored plastic.

To remove staining:

• Make a paste using baking soda and a small amount of water.
• Gently work the paste into the stained area using a soft-bristled brush.
• Pay special attention to detailed areas and the small separations between the fingers.
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Dry completely before storing.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat to help maintain the shape of the tools and extend their lifespan.

Materials

Printed using high-quality food-contact PLA.

While PLA is considered food-safe as a material, 3D printed products contain microscopic layer lines. As with all 3D printed baking tools, we recommend washing thoroughly before and after each use.

Please Note

• Color may vary slightly depending on filament availability.
• Because every item is individually 3D printed, minor cosmetic variations are normal and do not affect performance.
• Small layer lines and minor surface variations are a normal characteristic of 3D printed products.
• This listing is for the five-piece Slasher Glove Cake Pop Cutter Set only. Props, decorations, finished desserts, fondant, modeling chocolate, sticks, and accessories shown in photos are not included.
